Unbound, Free to Be Your Best

I’d like to share a few tips on how you too can have this and the freedom that has enabled me to live my life full of joy, committed to continually provide my best service. This is the mindset that allows me to see clearly and live my life unbound. 

I recently returned home from teaching in a touring awards ceremony where I serve every year as one of the artist development trainers. Independent recording and performing artists of all ages and music genres participate in an intense four-month process of training and vote gathering. It’s during the finals, the weekend of the last performances that the judges and I are called in to teach and critique performances in the commencement program. Four artists, from MVP, to grand prize champion are selected to move ahead with the awards organization, a broadcast radio company. Along with their trophies, artists receive continued support, expanded radio play, national and international touring opportunities.

Like artists, when inspired entrepreneurs are free to follow your hearts and pursue your passion you can live unbound from constraints. I liken serving in the artist program to living life unbound because it allows me to freely teach what I know, while living my passion of encouraging hope in love as compassion. It's then that giving your best becomes a joy.

I stated earlier that you will gather a few tips as I explain more. I’ll try to make the explanations short so you can quickly absorb the nuggets and use them right away. Let’s start with the word ‘compassion,’ and move thru unbound. 

Allow me to separate compassion into its power parts for you:

Compassion:  

com·pas·sion [kuhm-pash-uhn]
noun 1. Come, Passion. Your empowering unbound thought; “Come with your passion, giving the very best you have to give so you can live the best life there is to live.” See True Love Below. 

One of the programs I’ve developed for artists is the Castle Concert training program. I mention this because the main portions of the program contain nuggets you can use right away to become unbound and free to be your best. Two of those nuggets are, ‘treat every guest as royalty’ and ‘giving to your hosts transmits power to them to promote you and your cause.’ Though it’s much more personal, the concerts are similar to the past benefit concert tradition. They are much easier to set up than benefit concerts because they are performed in a smaller arena, a living room, den, back yard, coffee shop etc.

In the spirit of my educational program is a project dear to my heart. I am writing a song to help build financial support for Tiffany Duke and her three children. The most powerful nugget you may extract from this blog is one I share with the artist in training. It's this, at the core of Castle Concerts is hope in love as compassion. True love is defined in seven parts in “The Secret Power of True Love,” by Carlos Merriweather. You'll find many more of my lessons on this subject in the book. I'd like to share the main parts of the definition with you here.

True Love (tru luv) v. 2. The unchangeable aspiration that results in a commitment to behave in a lasting effort to serve in ways that are good for, needed by, and in the best interest of other person(s). 3. and one’s self. 

Just as the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams illustrates, when you genuinely care about the well-being of others life opens such a freedom to you. Life becomes extremely gratifying! That freedom comes from serving the needs of others similar to the way service is made available to you through places like, Sears, Starbucks, Rite-Aid and so many more. The premise of these systems is to be sure to learn what you need, fulfill your orders, and follow through with complimentary calls. Learn to set up so that you are free to perform service this way and it will pay you ten times fold over time. They aren't strapped to spend time trying to make you want to buy, they set up, unbound, so that you can roam freely through their real estate, without their help or guidance and sell yourself, or make your order at will.

If I may be permitted to steer off target for a bit, something is pulling me to write here is, that with the customer or clients need in , of my favorite things to do is over deliver.
